My yard chickens have gone crazy laying eggs this week, seems like every where you look there are eggs. I had a little bantam hatch 8 yesterday, I didn't even know she was on the nest.

Aren't chickens great? I do love fooling with mine.

Don't laugh cause it works. When you plant your tomato plants dig your hole deep enough to put a banana and egg at the bottom cover them with some dirt, then put some Epsom salt on the dirt but water it so it will dissolve then plant your plant. I some of the best tomatoes I ever had last year.

newly hatched bantys amaze me at their small size.

Mine are still on their winter hiatus. They don't pick up soon, they're going to be introduced to Mr. Freezer and replaced.

I have never heard of the banana and egg but have used Epsom salt. Sounds funky enough to work so I will give this a try when I plant this year; thanks for the tip.

My girls, 14 hens, are laying very well now too. Actually they have been laying well for a few weeks now.
