I put a camera out on public land Monday with plans on getting it today before the weekend. I put it on a greenfield which I would normally never do, but I figured I would be safe since deer season is out. NOPE. It was gone. Somebody stole it. My own fault for thinking it would be ok. If the person who stole my camera is a turkey hunter, I truly, from the bottom of my heart, hope you don't even hear a turkey gobble this season and the only turkeys you lay eyes on are the ones on my SD card.

I'll guess it was on Cahaba WMA Yes, it was on cahaba and I wouldn't put out any cameras unless it was in the woods. I run cameras on cahaba during deer season but I never put them on green fields or gas lines...... and after this I never will again.

Could have been a hiker or someone else. Not necessarily a hunter stole it. I wouldn't have put one out on public land, though.
