Currently it has passed the house but has not made it through the senate yet and thing can very well change from there especially since Bentley has assembled a committee to find a way to repeal a current tax without hurting the state

Its the second one on your link. But, the fee part came as an amendment, not part of the original bill, so it isn't shown there. Look up to my previous post. I gave you a link.

More government in our lives.

But those of us who don't want that and the incremental chipping away are supposed to shut up and just take it "for the good of society."

So let me see if I get this correctly. People whine about not seeing deer because they overheard their brother in laws cousin say that his wife said her cousin was told that Billy Bob 4 Counties away killed 13 bucks (12 spikes and a 4 point) and 65 does this past season, so it is obvious that there are no deer left in Alabama. So, we have to make it legal to kill deer over corn because there aren't any left in the State and because the "hunters are not willing to change the way or locations they hunt?

And then they are going to whine about paying an additional fee to make it easier to kill those non-existent deer.

Am I missing something, or is it just about whining that seems the most consistent in "hunting"?

"After all, it is not the killing that brings satisfaction; it is the contest of skill and cunning. The true hunter counts his achievement in proportion to the effort involved and the fairness of the sport." Dr. Saxton Pope

This, what's even more interesting is that they will prolly REQUIRE is be in a feeder. Isn't that moultrie feller on the board? I smell a potential monopoly at least here in bama. Dan moultrie wants it passed so his feeder sales can go thru the roof

Dan has not been on the advisory board in at least two years if not more.

I talked with Dan recently. He is quite enjoying not being involved.

A lot of people have "pull" these days. Some of them are relative unknowns to the Joe Average public guy. Others with a public image or persona, such as Dan, catch all the heat from folks who think they're driving the train. Not always the case.

For many years. Some folks on here don't pay attention, though.
