I like sushi but couldn't tell a California roll from some Tuna or Salmon. I just eat it.

One looks like tuna roll and the other looks like nigiri.

Not a spicy tuna roll but it is one of my favorite rolls!

If y'all haven't ate sushi from Osaka Japanese Restaurant in Prattville, y'all need to give it a try if you ever in the area.

That's just tuna. I'd say from Publix, possibly.

The spicy roll typically is made of the trimmings of the larger pieces. They keep the trimmings -- sorta like tuna souse -- and then add some chit to it, some spice, call it "spicy roll" and charge a few bucks more.

Public sushi doesn't hold a candle to damn near any Japanese restaurant/sushi bar sushi. I got sick a couple times off public in Prattville sushi. You woulda thought I learned the first time.

Oh I agree, restaurant sushi typically is better than Publix. I was just guessing based on the little black tray, hunk of green horseradish, soy packet, etc. Looks just like our Publix sushi.

Speaking of sushi, Fresh Market had a whole octopus in their seafood display. That was an odd sight for me.

It be's that way sometimes.
