Does anyone know the best way to get this seed from the NWTF? I have got my hands on some beans in the past through a guy in Birmingham that had some left over.

Used to be they offered wheat and corn to members of NWTF. I picked up a load of wheat to plant one year in Muscle Shoals at a carpet warehouse. Someone in the club had arranged this and I just picked them up. Seems like the cost was next to nothing but I can't really remember.
It was basically feed wheat and year old corn that we got. It grew is about all I can say about it. You get what you pay for in every thing you do.

As I recall, it has to be ordered through a local chapter. Most chapters don't participate because there are minimum orders required. I think the minimum is like 2 pallets of seed. Lastly, the chapter is responsible for finding a suitable spot to unload it, it usually requires someone to have a loading dock or a forklift.
Your best bet is probably to call the NWTF and ask if they can tell you who has ordered seed or plans to. I can probably get you some info on orders that have been placed, but all that seed may be spoken for.

I have sent out a few emails to my local chapter contacts I found on the NWTF site. I'll see if I get a reply from one of them with some information.
I can meet the minimum order if need be and I can arrange delivery to a place it can be unloaded. I'll even come pick up some seed within a reasonable drive from Andalusia if I can get in on an order.

If you're willing to meet the minimum order and furnish a place to unload you might want to consider making your own order. The early bird gets the worm. I have heard that they've run out in years past and couldn't fill all orders.
I'll get you the contact info for the person in charge of the seed program.

It sounds like we need an ALDeer NWTF seed purchase. I know I'd like some Honestly I bet we could do whatever the minimum order is every year very easily. I am a member of the NWTF but as far as picking up a couple bags of seed... I don't want to have to jump through hoops like getting in touch with "the guy" at another chapter somewhere... or for that matter whatever all the complications of getting a few bags of seed entails. Would be much easier to just deal with a load via ALDeer.

So far the 3 gentlemen I've emailed at the NWTF and my local chapter has failed to respond. Hopefully it's due the NWTF convention being this past weekend and they are behind. If not, makes me think twice about supporting an association that want take time to reply to one of their members about a program they offer. I've heard rumor this conservation seed program is cut throat and you best know the right people to get some seed out of it. Hopefully, if I don't hear back from those I emailed I know the right people to help me anyway.

The Winston Co. Chapter would be closest to me, also. Do you have contact info?
