It's inevitable. The Fed has kept interest rates so low for so long, the stock market is artificially inflated with a ton of free money. At some point sometime soon, all that has to end.

I've actually been concerned about this now that it is starting to heat up and has broken 20K. My 401K is looking pretty good now and figure it will all fall apart about 6 months before I retire.

What do I know? I pulled my money out at 15K. Just knew it was overvalued and not going any higher. Bought a house or two and have some cash waiting around for the crash.

So the gajillion dollar question....... when does he house-of-cards fall?????? The Fed makes it very very tough to call. They've created so many false bottoms and bent the rules of economics too many times. It will certainly come crashing down at some point. If I had to throw a dart..... We see a recession like '08 in the next 2-5 years. The Fed artificially inflates spending through interest rates and bs to stop it before it gains too much momentum. After that, things are hunky dory again. with all the baby boomers retiring over the next 20 years, and drawing out their 401ks, it turns into a massive shtf scenario. Negative interest rates, everyone's retirement gone, huge weight of baby boomers healthcare on our shoulders, could be anarchy in the streets type situation.
