There's a few restaurants closed here in Charlotte, but not a surprise since they are liberal hang outs... The Mexican restaurants are mostly all open... guess they didn't get the memo.

I've been living beside a new construction project for the last few months and from sun up to sun down its non stop Hispanics working 7 days a week. It's like a ghost town today.

Prolly just making a run to go pick up some more of that 84 Lumber.

32 is a lot of kids. I have 24 on normal day 6 are out today. We have little over 200 gone out of 600 grades K-5.

Mexican restaurants are not a good way to judge. The ones where I go are good legal Americans of Mexican decent. They also mostly employee family members.

Maybe the kids can actually learn something today.

Maybe liberal Americans can learn our Country will not crater without illegals.

They just stayed home to watch the Trump news conference.

wish they would shut down longer. Mex rest near me is open as well as Chinese rest.

First and foremost I would say is your feeling of responsibility to feed, clothe, and shelter your family.

If you get EBT for food, section 8 for shelter, SSI disability and welfare checks for clothing and expenses, you don't NEED DADDY, and Daddy doesn't NEED to look after you. Now what does he do with his time?

That is not true Robert! They have caused labor prices to drop to a ridiculous point here. A couple of years ago I won a remodel bid. I had started the job and after two days of demo, the owner let me go. he said some Mexicans had stopped by after I left for the day and cut my price. This happens often and all over the Country. The jobs Americans don't want argument doesn't float.

I would have lost this bet!!! I had 4 scheduled to work at the farm today and none of them showed up! Nothing new though, they are always trying to revolt at times. I'm lucky we're in between crops right now. If they show up tomorrow they will see their replacements, and one of the guys that didn't show will haft to walk home. I'll keep yall posted on whether or not the night crew shows up at 6!

LOL BC, I've seen them try to hold up guys for more money in the middle of the day. One thing I've learned is no matter what race. You have to stay with them. Too often I've returned with materials and found everyone sitting around smoking. I never allow them to smoke in anyones home.

Same thing happened to the carpenter on a commercial job we are doing right now. The two white Guy's were the only ones out of about a 15 man crew. He said he called them and told them not to worry about showing back up.

Every one of mine showed up (of course they are here legally). They show up at daylight. Stay until dark. Work hard, do good work, work 25% faster, and I pay them very well. Tons of Hispanic crews that will work super cheap...... But you get what you pay for
