Last year on the left with crooked main. This year on the right. Same deer?

Age guesses and score on the one on the right?

Beam could have been damaged in velvet last year. If not the same definitely his brother.

There is nothing uniquely distinguishing that I can see to say one way or another.

Looks like the same deer to me, same basic frame and angle of tines, just wider on the right.

I don't think they're the same. The deer on the left has much longer brow tines, and I've never seen them decrease that much from one year to another.

I think it's the same deer. Wouldn't put money on it though.

Face and body are similar but I agree with SBS on the brow tines.

Thanks for the comments..........even yours timbercruiser. I'd love to believe they are different deer, but I doubt it. Consider:
-Same property, same camera locations, both homebodies with DOZENS of pics each, same summer and fall patterns.
-zero time overlap. Last year's deer was photographed until Feb '16. This year's deer showed up in June and stayed around until he was killed in Dec.
-Our property, over many years, hasn't regularly produced long-tined bucks. This year's, with a freak death in Dec, is one of our very best.

Deer weighed 178. Going off memory, IS is 16.5". MB =23. G2 @ 9 & 10. G3s at 8.5. Favorable math puts him at 130". 4-5 yo for us.
