3 years ago for Christmas my work gave us all very nice rechargeable stream light flashlights! I thought the thing was awesome, it would shine forever! I used mine afew times for walking in and out and tracking deer, and I lost it one morning while walking around, must have slipped out of my pocket.... I looked in that area good the next few times I hunted there trying to find it but no luck.... well today my young neighbor went hunting with me and I asked him to help me go take down a stand, and as we were walking in he found my streamlight buried up in the dirt... it looked like crap but I cleaned it up alittle brought it home, dug out the charger for it and I can't believe it, the thing came on and works!!!! The grip has dry rotted and I pulled it off but still amazed after 3 years out on the ground through all the rain, freezing temps, heat, and direct sunlight it still works!

Great lights and story. I have one I need o send them. It worked
over ten years and stayed on a charger in my console.

I dropped one in about a foot of swamp water one morning and the only way I found it was the light still shining. Helluva flashlight.

I have two.

A smaller one, and one like you have. Hated to part with the money at the time, but well worth it.

Only thing I do not like is when the light goes out due to battery, it goes out. Sometimes with no warning, laugh

God Bless,

Email Streamlight and let them know.
I'm sure they would like to know.

I've given a couple as gifts. They are outstanding lights.

I have nearly the same story with mine only it was in front of the clubhouse where everyone parked their trucks. I walking past and saw a little black shiney spot about as big as your little fingernail. Dug it up to see what it was and it was my light. No telling how many times it had been run over.

Cool story! Great product. I had a streamlight head lamp that I've had for probably nearly 10 years. I used it for hunting for a long time then used it at work. A couple of weeks back I dropped it down an electrical Chase from the top of a 4 story building. I sure hated that.

I had two of the smaller ones, great lights. The problem I eventually had was one of the chargers quit working and the replacement batteries I was getting wouldn't hold a charge long. This was after about 10 or so years.

That's why they dominate in the fire service

Good lights for sure. I had one given to me as a gift. It works great. I have to carry in pocket though, because they don't make a holder for it.

I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern

You need to send Streamlight that story. They might send you a free light or something.

I have 2 like yours and 2 that use the 6v batteries. I love my rechargable ones.

They have a lifetime warranty, if you go to their website you might be able to find a place locally that can replace the handle, or they'll give you a new light.

I had one. Of course I didn't buy it, I found it on the highway with dents and scrapes all over it. Carried it home, got a charger and used it for 6 months or so. Went to Mobile for Mardi Gras, left my son in charge of the boat. Came back to a trashed boat and some story about how all the kids my son's age were on my tiny little boat acting the fool. Next time I went to get my light, it was gone. I'm out 30 clams or so for the charger.

My kid had to personally apologize to every boat owner in the marina, the harbormaster and clean up our old viking for months afterwards.

+1 on Streamlight. I have two gun lights and four flashlights. Good products.

Shoot, I've got a streamlight survivor led that's easily been in 100 structure fires, been beat and banged around the fire truck, dropped repeatedly, been in more water than most dive lights and keeps on ticking. I've had it for 6 years.
