Tell her dad that a LEO advised you to tell him to file a report and tell him to follow up on it if it continues.
Do nothing yourself and do your best to get your son to run. It isn't worth it at his age. Like Doekiller said, it is not your business unless dude tries to physically hurt the girl.
Dollar to a donut that if she really wanted it stopped she could get it stopped. I've seen a lot of nice girls that enjoy being the center of attention in teenage drama. Women too, for that matter. Thanks, I'm going with this, just hope I can get my son to cease and desist. Really believe the girl wants it to stop, she is not a drama kind of girl, but the advice is the most valid I've heard tonight. Very solid advice there. I'll add some advice that my Dad gave me one time in a similar situation. He said, "two guys get in a fight over a girl, one ends up dead, the other ends up in jail, and she's out with someone else the next night." I've never forgotten that.

If he wants to fight your son, make him sign a waiver. Then let your son beat the hell out of him. I've had two folks sign a waiver, the last guy backed down when I handed him the paperwork. A buddy of mine hit a guy that was starting stuff in a steak and shake parking lot. Killed him on the first blow. Now he's in prison. You never know what a punch will do to someone. Just my 2 cents. What are your concerns? The guy I know that's in prison, was from Tampa. He used to come up here hunting with Walt. They ran a baggage service that catered to the TB Rays. Folks will try'n sue you for all your worth now days.. I don't give a damn if you believe me or not.

Only that THIS is a teenager/young adult problem that doesn't need to progress into any octagon mentality.
The girls parents should make an L.E. info report to establish a paper trail in case of any more trouble as I first indicated early on in this thread.
The new boyfriend and pop need to sit on the sidelines like they have chosen to do unless there is a clear, present, and immediate threat to life or property.
Every dispute doesn't require a friggin beatdown to show who's biggest. If you go looking for trouble, you will find it, is my point.
A waiver, my ass.

A waiver, my ass. That's understandable. I know I came off as a DA. I apologize for that, Mr. Deadwood.

Ah, a graduate who won't let go. Well.
That's what he likes about those high school girls. He gets older and they stay the same age. Dazed & Confused.

There's no such thing as a "low drama" teenage girl.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Now my next day in law school will be my first day, but I don't believe an agreement, i.e. waiver, to engage in an illegal act would be considered binding in court. In fact, it simply could add another charge of Conspiracy along with the Assault charges. Now that might not be the legal way to say it, but the point is, that won't work.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Personally, I would file a restraining order. If that doesn't work, get the kid to start a fight and then have your son finish it. Perfect!

I guess the days are gone where an ass whooping was a problem solver Modified. If you can get the person who needs one to assault you in some way....self defense and an ass whooping are one and the same then. Usually clears things right up.

Personally, I would file a restraining order. If that doesn't work, get the kid to start a fight and then have your son finish it. Perfect! Oh how this sounds so familiar. 30 years ago I was in the same situation. I was the bigger kid and a little pot head kept propositioning my girlfriend. To summarize the story, I was suspended for two weeks, had to go to summer school, and my parents were sued (~$10k) to repair the kids eye socket. Needless to say, not a avenue I would recommend.

I believe this is an issue handled between the girl and her Dad and the boy and his Dad....nobody else.
