I understand that bodies have hair for a reason. By design.

But for the life of me I cannot grasp why, as a man in my 40s, do I really need actively growing ear hair and nose hair. Do my ears and nose somehow now, after a few decades need more protection? LOL

Rant over...tired of trimming.

I feel your pain. I shave my head and if I'd known how bad I hated having hair I would have been shaving my head since I was a teenager.

Apparently when you keep it from growing upwards, it makes up for it by growing downwards and outwards. I could weave a blanket with the hair I pull out of my nose over the course of a year. I grab 2 fingers full about twice a week and jerk them out. Some of them are long enough that I'm quite certain that they grow out of my brain stem and those on the septum hurt enough that they obviously take root in a nerve cell.

Mine really started about 10 years ago when I turned 35. I woke up one morning and it looked like 2 black widow spiders had crawled up my nose and had their legs hanging out.

Try taking testosterone injections. it's like throwing 13-13-13 on it! I've never had back hair in my life and now I do, plus I have to trim and shave a lot more frequently now.

X2. Started losing hair when I was 16, but when I was about 34-35, it started growing out of places it didn't belong! *LOL*

Damn sure been getting Harry the older I get. But I hope the hair on my head keeps on growing, cause I'd sure look funny with a shaved head with all my scars/lumps grin

haleyville al,
Ya'll stop. I'm 31. Ssent pics in to a casting call for naked and afraid. They thought it was a joke. They thought I sent them a pic of big foot. Just a shorter father version. I've been loosening my hair since 17. But grows like kudzu every where else. Lol

As far as ear hair goes when I clean out my ears with my car keys I then use the key to help me snatch out the hair. Fingers and a jerk so hard on the nose hairs it brings a tear to your eyes and then followed by a long series of sneezing. Works every time laugh .

Just shave your head and be done with it.

Conservation of Hair Theorem: Hair can neither be created or destroyed - it can only be moved to grow in a new location.

Nope, 47 and head full of hair.
I'm not a hairy guy...not really any chest or back hair. But now I have a weird wild one just show up..like 2" long on top of my shoulder. Odd. The ear hair is the worst. Like a dang forest if I don't trim like every other day.
