So it is legal for a healthy mom to kill her healthy baby before it is born. However, if someone does something to the mom that in turn kills the baby it's considered murder? That sounds contradicting. Why are there two different standards?

Because we live in a liberial society that has no moral compass. Just look at all those morons that marched on Washington yesterday, Ashley Judd, Madonna, Amy Schumer. If you listened to what these 3 idiots said yesterday, you can totally understand how this can happen.

Women that schedule abortion for their convenience of not having to raise a child should be put to death at that time and if at all possible the baby should be saved.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I'm PRO not paying for a bunch of babies born of irresponsible folks through programs like WIC, EBT, SEC 8, etc. Does that make me a liberal democrat?

I am pro tying off tubes and tube steaks to stop this. Does that make me a heartless conservative? What really is stupid is what happens if a pregnant female driving to the abortion clinic gets in a wreck caused by a reckless driver. If her unborn child is killed as a result of the wreck the reckless driver would be charged with murder. Yet if it's just a fender bender and she still makes her appointment no harm no foul. Horse patootie.

Why are there two different standards? Not that either is morally right, but one is by the mother's choice and the other isn't. That is the only difference.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The only difference is the perspective. One is morally wrong and one is morally corrupt.

Horse patootie. Your exactly right. But if the mom is on drugs i cant charge her and DHR will not get involved until the baby is born. Ive had a hard time with this becauae to me if that baby has a heart beat its a human being but according to them its not until its out of the womb. Eats me alive

Murdering an innocent person is murdering an innocent person, no matter what angle you look at it from. Bull Shucks. Might make me a monster in some folks eyes but not a liberal democrat. A lot of the same folks screaming to do away with abortions are the same ones that complain about someone in line in front of them paying for their shucks with an EBT card. Hey believe me, I wish folks were more responsible. But unfortunately they are not. And they are not showing any signs of getting that way. I see post on buy/sell sites of women asking for free kids stuff or help with bills. I think I want to help, until I click on the profile and see that they are a stay at home mom, with 4 beautiful babies about 10 months apart? (Damn, how about at least let the soreness get out) Not married, and in a relationship with a "Self employed" guy. Why doesn't he pay the damn bills? Why doesn't he buy baby clothes. Why doesn't he buy a damn box of rubbers? Oh I know why? The lowered Honda needs a new air intake and gotta get that "Only God can judge me" Tattoo finished up.

If I complain about your car on blocks in the front yard to the neighborhood HOA, that makes me a bad person if I don't help you haul it away? It's your problem, deal with it. It's not the government's role to facilitate your bad decisions. I'm pro-life and anti-welfare. Both positions mean I want people to take care of their own lives and not depend on me. That's the height of Liberty.

I don't think it's the governments role to facilitate abortions. It would put the government in a position of directly depriving people of due process rights. Oh well, the patriot act trashed due process anyways.
On the other hand, I agree with eclipse. It builds a bigger problem. Not to mention how much more crime it would create. By that logic, poor folks should get the axe. They commit more crimes, so we shouldn't give them a chance. See how that logic works? Not very well.

That's the height of Liberty. The reason you have to have an HOA to complain to in the 1st place is because there are so many folks that are not responsible enough to not have cars, couches, bathtubs, etc. In the front yard.

I think criminals are more likely to be poor because they are willing to break the friggin law. Takes a certain type of person to rob, cheat, steal kill, etc.

I absolutely agree with the statement about a heartbeat being to point of no return. I personally don't feel comfortable about any abortions outside pre heartbeat incest or rape cases. However, can compromise to allow only preheartbeat abortions for any reason to get the "point of life" established as prior to the head being outside the vajayjay. (I can't begin to describe the disgust caused by partial birth abortion)
It makes sense to me because medical time of death is not determined until the heart no longer beats. You can be brain dead but not be legally dead until there is no heartbeat.

I'm not advocating for either side. Leave it up to the states to vote on and leave the Feds out of it.
