I put a small electric heater in my 10X12 greenhouse and it's keeping the temps above 40 degrees, even on 26 degree nights. Have several oak saplings in containers, half dozen blueberry plants, two pineapple plants. Getting ready for early maters and peppers. Ordered onion sets from Dixon Dale Farms today to be delivered Jan 30. Just about finished my second raised garden(14X2) and starting on number three(16X2)

Won't be long now...

When I had my homemade plastic greenhouses the biggest problem I had was getting too hot in there. You could plant some tomato seeds now if you wanted to. When they bloom just use a small paint brush to pollinate the blooms.

I put three pepper plants in the greenhouse from last season. I noticed the other day that there are blooms on two of the plants.....

so far temps are doing great in the greenhouse. The few really cold nights the temps stayed around 40 degrees.

I've got 6 Chinese 5-Color peppers that I potted into 2 12" pots and brought into the house...they're still making, too. They sit in a window to catch the morning sun, and if it's mild enough, every now and then I take them outside for the day, then bring them back in at night. The plants aren't as full and bushy as they were outside, but they're hanging in there!

checked the temp an hour ago, it was a cozy 65 degrees, with little peppers forming right along.

I planted pepper seeds today. Keeping them in the sun room in the house until they sprout then I will use the greenhouse.

Plant some for me too.

Serious as a heart attack. We still have a few golf ball sized tomatoes on the kitchen counter that are just now getting ripe. My wife picked all the green ones off the vines before our first hard freeze. This is the latest we've ever had any left.
