agreed... however most of the giant bucks that I see hauled out of PRV usually come towards the end of January. I believe that 2nd rut is what gets them.

When we hunted up towards Stevenson it was done by this time so I would assume not much has changed and anything north and northeast of Western Sizzler in Scottsboro is done

When we hunted up towards Stevenson it was done by this time so I would assume not much has changed and anything north and northeast of Western Sizzler in Scottsboro is done I hunt in Stevenson. That secondary rut will kick in next week or the next and it will be decent. No where near as good as it was 2 weeks ago though

The last 10 days of Jan. will be the secondary rut/breeding period for central Jackson Co, Skyline and upper PRV. Good time to kill a full grown un.
