Got to thinking if I let fear get the best of me I might give up something I really enjoyed. Sitting on an oak ridge in Blount county waiting on daylight. Set up on a logging road in a hardwood bottom leading to a bedding area 200 yards away. Rough hunting this time of year in this area. Good luck y'all. It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

I'm really curious what kind of tree that is your sitting in? I guess it must be some kind of pine but are those green ferns on the ground? Just looks like a lot of green for January?

It looks just blades of grass bunched up, but the deer don't eat it. I think they bud out certain time of year and the turkey eat the buds. It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!
