depends on what food you want. Ricatoni's is good, but its Italian and too heavy for lunch for me. City Hardware is next door and it has food like Ruby Tuesday's, Ocharleys, etc but has a local flavor. Staggs Grocery has the best burgers in town, but its greasy and cramped. Garden gate is on Florence Blvd and it is a local meat and 3.
if that don't work, tell me what type you want, and ill post it.

Bunyan's BBQ for lunch then swing by a local grocery store and get some of their hot slaw to carry home with you.

I worked in Florence last summer for a few months and my favorite lunch spot was the Garden Gate and for Supper was Champs fried chicken in Muscle Shoals. If you go to Champs get the tamales. They are outstanding!

Finding a parking spot in downtown Florence at lunchtime is a feat in itself.
Mama jeans is not bad, City Hardware is pretty good food, nothing like a food chain to me, Rick owns City Hardware and Ricatoni's.
