Guys,
I've been in my club for 10 years. I have enjoyed the property and members very much. Due to getting a little older and having my first granddaughter, I'm not getting up to my club very often due to the distance (97 miles one way). I'm looking to get closer to home. I live in Spanish Fort. I am the only member of my family that hunts, so it's just me.

If you know of any quality clubs in the area looking for members next year, please let me know.

It's near Grovehill, but not so fast my friends. My getting out is dependent on finding something close. Not gonna give up my spot yet. Got to have somewhere to go set in a tree.

What are you looking for in a club? I run one in Baldwin county, but don't know if I'll need anyone next year yet.

I'm not too picky. I do like to see deer. I usually take one or two does a year and then hunt for a decent buck. I like some kind of restriction on bucks. I like to be in a club where everybody gets along and is not too competitive. I've only been in two clubs the last 15 years. Im always been happy to see nice deer taken regardless of who takes them.

Also, I'm looking for a club with decent plots and shooting houses. I only hunt from a ladder stand or on the ground. I've had 3 shoulder operations and can't climb too well. I do have a camper, but would probably not hunt more than a day at a time, if the club is within a short drive of Spanish Fort.

Thanks to all that responded to my request. I think I my be able to get on waiting list for 2 different clubs around the Stockton area. Southside really looks appealing. Really good feedback from area hunters about this club. Maybe this will work out.
