Anyone bought a vehicle from them recently? (specifically a used one, if it matters)...

They have a couple of trucks I'm moderately interested in, but the price is just too high. They have gone to that "no haggle" crap where "The price in the window is the price you pay". Is that really the case or will they work with you a little?

I hate the thought of having to haggle with a dealership on price but I've about accepted the fact that I'll have to go to one to find what I want, but I'm simply not paying what they're asking.

Make them an offer, all they can do is say no.

I bought a 2011 Honda from them back in June. I didn't bother haggling with them because it was already a good price.

I would at least try but I doubt that they move much.

Since David DeSantis sold out that place has really changed.

How does that no haggle pricing work if you are trading in a vehicle?

Tried to buy one from them. They don't budge an inch on price. What you see is what it is period. I didn't buy from them.

I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Don't take anything there for service or better yet (your wife) no experience for myself but. SIL went for free tires - they didnt even change them! Buddy at work said they left oil cap off his wifes car & denied it. Finally found it under the engine luckily. And after that tried to sell her tires when she didn't halfway need them. He works at BFG with me so he looks at them every day.

Bought a Camry from them today. They would not budge on price. I will say they did have a great price already. $2,000 better than any where else, so we were satisfied and wife is happy.

Bought a used Lexus for the Wife unit last year and traded a Jeep Cherokee. The price they gave was it. I walked out over $500 fully expecting a phone call the next day. Nope. Broke down and called them because I knew it was a good deal. I hate their service department. Guys with clean hands working On commission.

Screwed me over several years ago and I will Never do business with them. Sold a car out from under me that I had signed the paperwork on the night before. Then said "What are we supposed to tell the customer they can't have the car? I said we'll that is what you are telling me

That Sales Manager was asking others in the office to keep me away from him. I went down the street and.bought a Honda. Pissed me off.

Find the vehicle you want from an individual. Write a check for it. It's yours and the price was right.

I've bought probably 6 or 7 vehicles over the years and always got a good price. Had an issue with the first '01 Tacoma I ordered through them. It's a long story, but they weren't at fault. Toyota had to replace it. Now their service department is about to really piss me off. Never had an issue out of them until this past year. Last few times my wife has carried her Highlander in to be serviced they've hit her up wanting to do work that wasn't necessary. After I got called and woken up after working night shift last time, I think they got my point. My dad has had to get all over their asses too.

My wife's family has bought over 20 cars from them over the years. When David DeSantis sold out is when they went to this one price deal.

I have used the service department for years and do not have any problems. I only use one service writer there and he knows not to try and sell me on things. He knows that I do my own filters, wipers, batteries and brakes among other things.

Looks like a mixed bag of reviews Gomer,I hate dealing with dealerships period. The only plus in my opinion on buying from dealerships is that they are more likely to stand behind their vehicle while a individual will give you the slip on a issue. All you can do is research models and prices and draw the line where you wanna be on payments.I think about trading sometimes and I've found a site called Cargurus that is pretty helpful in searching for vehicles.good luck

If you want an honest service writer there, ask for Brian Drawhorn. I've known Brian for about 16 years now. No BS kind of guy that will shoot you straight, and knows his Toyotas. He owns/operates WabFab Off-Road as a side business.
