What y'all got? I'd lean towards a Browning A-Bolt, but would also consider a Remington Model 7, Winchester Model 70, maybe a Tikka?

PM me if y'all got one. Thanks.

Since you like Winchester, look at the extreme weather 7-08. I love mine.

Make sure to check into the Tikka prices right now before buying a used one. New ones are going less than $500 several places. I've seen them for $450.

Well I had agreed to terms with a guy down in Auburn for a Rem. 700 in 7mm-08, and he just changed the terms on the deal and expected me to still pay the agreed to price... bottom line is that deal fell through, and now I'm STILL LOOKING for a good bolt action 7mm-08.

Holler if you've got one.

There's been an A-bolt 7-08 on campfire for several days now.

I looked thru 15 pages and only saw an X-bolt in 7mm-08 for sale. Got a link to the A-Bolt?

Considering you are a most of the time woods hunter as well....just go ahead and get you a Sako Finnlight in 7mm-08 pal. Buy once, cry once. You'll LOVE it!

That may be it. I was thinking it was an A-bolt. 257WBYMAG has a super nice stainless A-bolt in 7-08 that shoots great. You should send him a PM

If I let you have my 7-08 could you keep it a couple years and kill 5-6 big giant bucks with it and then give it back to me once it has good mojo and stuff?
