Friday evening my wife fell off the attic folding ladder getting, of course, Christmas stuff down. A broken hip, back and pelvis later, she may get to come home today. Thanks to her amazing family, I finally got to come home last night and sleep after getting a total of about 15 minutes of hospital recliner sleep in the last 38 hours.
I can't say enough about the Druid City Hospital staff. War Eagle still though. The original plan was to life flight her to Montgomery and they were full Fri. night so I gave them permission to go to Tusc. instead. That was a Godsend as it just so happened that one of the reputed brightest new stars in the world of orthopedic surgery was on call that night. The fall happened at about 7:30PM. She was in surgery with one of the best right before 11:30PM that night. Basically, the rush was to make sure blood flow is restored to the ball of the femur. The break was just below this. Praiseworthy are the facts Dr. King says the femur parts fit back together perfectly and the breaks in the back and pelvis should heal naturally on their own while she is slowed down rehabbing the hip.
Please prayer for my family as we have a Charlie Brown Christmas, as my wife has dubbed it, and for her speedy recovery so she can get back to work and pay medical bills, which are going to be astronomical, and for me to have the strength, patience and wisdom to become a good nurse.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Sent, I'm not too far away, if there's anything I can do please let me know.
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??
