Looking for a good club to join within 15-20min drive of Millers Ferry. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You like to hog hunt?

We used to have a cabin on the water at Miller's Ferry. Hunted with the Henderson family. They own most of the land around there and I believe still run a hunting club. Contact S.J. Henderson. I do not have a number for him anymore.

S.J.'s place would definitely be convenient and would love to have the opportunity to join next year if I could in touch with whoever handles the club memberships.

Flat wood HC is pretty close by,lot of land and reasonable dues

I think the Henderson club is in the neighborhood of 6000 per year

That would be fine with me. For a better than average place with some elbow room you are gonna pay for it. I'm open to any options up to that amount in that area.

Good lord. if I'm paying 6,000 bucks to hunt, I'm gonna go kill something with 300 inches of bone that bugles and weighs 900 lbs,a deer with forked horns that runs funny, and an antelope.

Will need 2 members for pine apple next year, about 25-30 minutes away. Can still use 1 for this year.

Flatwoods Club great place to hunt! Lot of deer and Turkey.

If you're willing to pay $6K a year. Look at Gees Bend and some of the big $$clubs up around Portland Landing. For that kind of money you can dang sure find better land than the Hendersons.

We had some fabulous hunting at the Henderson's years ago. I saw a picture of a 157bc that was killed there last year.

Abolt300, the problem I run into is knowing the people to talk with about these clubs.

At one time Gees Bend had a facebook page for the club. You might could contact them through that if it's still up and running.

Think real hard about them. They have CRAPPY neighbors to the east.

Gees bend is by invite/ family only.

Hendersons club has a lot of deer, but they don't have much for size, honestly. Someone said something about a 157 that came off their place last year, but I didn't hear about it 9which seems odd to me), but if it did legitimately come from there, then it's the biggest one in the past 10 years.
It's not worth 6k imo.
