Not sure on the green light portion but Black Diamond, Petzl, and Zebralight all make quality headlamps. I'm sure they have one that will fit your needs.

Green lantern. Comes with a ring to activate it.

I figure a green or red light would spook deer less than a bright white light, probably wrong I do know that a red light can't be seen from as far as a white light.

Well streamlight but I really like the coast brand, not sure if they make one with a green light or not

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

No comments as to which lights best but, I use low intensity white with no issues. I usually wear my zebra light. I have a lamp with red lense cover but rarely use the red. I think light intensity, whether it's white, red, or green will determine if the game spooks.

Mini mag has colored lense covers you can install or you can cut colored plastic and do the job. We used blue/red on our helos to aid in retaining our night vision.

I've been using the same Streamlight with a green light for nearly 10 years.

I wish the Zebralight offered a green light.

I use the Streamlight Buckmasters Trident. Low green, high green, high white.

Get one of the Cree off Ebay. They are cheap bright rechargeable and seem to hold up. I've been using mine for work for about a year and I think it was around 20 bucks shipped.

^^^^ What he said. Get on ebay or amazon and get on a cree powered, chinese made headlamp with red LEDs on them. They are all around $25 shipped. The red LEDs are super bright, which is what I was going for. A lot better than my small black diamond headlamp, I actually like to see where I am going in the woods using a red light.
