Well I'll start it off agin this morning. Just got in my stand. Pulled the card in the camera here yesterday to review the pics and I have a few good bucks and a lot of doe's in here right after first light all week. Jumped a few coming in but took it real slow so hopefully there's a few more still in here. Chasing a 9 point I call trident. If I can get him on the ground it will be a good day. Good luck. I'm at Cahaba for the first sit of the year. Sitting In a pine saddle bordering 4 year old planted pines with oak ridges on either side of me. Hoping to catch them slipping along the contour lines.

Still got a good wind, so I'm in the same spot as yesterday afternoon.

Set up in the spot where I got the doe last Thursday. Hoping I can run a Slick Trick tipped Gold Tip through Hillary this afternoon.

In a hard wood flat just south of a 3 year old cutover hunting swamp chestnuts. Saw a small rack buck and a doe one of our dirt plots riding in here.

2 deer in sight now! This might be another flash hunt!

Just had two come in. Drew back on one 3 times but couldn't get a clean shot. 23 yds. I have no doubt I could have killed her quartering to me. Not sure why I didn't touch the trigger off. Getting soft in my old age. :))
