If line them up with the notches there is nothing holding them in place. Like Rooster said, line the blades up with the tabs. When they hit something, it blows those tabs off instantly.
My question is can you buy replacement collars. I started shooting Rages this year and I have already gone through three collars.

Yes they sell a tube of replacement collars. I line the blades up with the middle of the tab . After you shoot just spin the collar. You can get at least 2 shots out of one collar.

there are some small arrows on the collars that the blades are supposed to line up with.
Anything worth doing, is worth doing right, or it's not worth doing at all!

This^^^ I've shot one collar three times. I was checking flight on all my hunting arrows. Just move broadhead to different arrow and line it up on a different tab.
