In my experience you can't say left for left or right for left because all kinds stuff is going on in the dynamics there. It may be due to the way your hand fits the grip, torque, string oscillation, spine, cam type, or a number of variables. In many cases I have to move left for a left tear with my set up. I think a whisker bisquit even complicates things more because there's a 360 degree surface for the shaft to make contact. Some bows have characteristics that most all owners of that bow encounter. You may want to search archerytalk forums for your set up under tuning and see if you can get any insight. I don't like the socail part of AT but it has a butt load of info!

I generally follow that if the adjustment is in front of the bowstring (rest) that you make the adjustments the same direction as the tear (tear left, move rest left; tear right, move rest right, etc). If you are moving the spot on the bow string you move the nock point opposite of the tear (tear up, move nock point down; tear down, move nock point up, etc).
