Sitting in the house in Indiana look out the back window watching 2 bucks chase a doe all over the pasture. One is at least 130 inches. I tagged out yesterday so just watching now.

Sitting at gate number 1 in Montgomery regional airport waiting on my flight to Kansas for their pheasant opener. Should've known the first good cold weekend down here would be when I was gone.

Have had two different small bucks walk right to the grunt call this morning. Damn coyote has been in and out the corn all morning, and I finally got to put a .50 cal in the back of his head

Success out there at Wheeler today! Nice doe at 20 yards. See was quartered towards me more then I thought, perforated the stomach. That is a smell I will remember. Pictures will come.

I got down at 1030, I believe I saw one. Split second 75 yards deep in the woods. I thought I saw good antlers too. 3.5 year old or better. 5-15 minutes I grunted twice. Nothing! I got down to go to work. I will be back in the morning again.

I see a lot of people have gotten deer or even see. Deer today. A friend I met on wheeler last year was on wheeler with his buddy. They both got a doe today.

I'm sitting on an old logging road where planted pines and hardwoods meet. Still some acorns falling. This is my 5th hunt this year and haven't seen a deer yet. Hopefully things will change this evening.

I got set up at 2:30 couldn't control my cough and was down by 3. No chance I was gonna see anything coughing every 10-15 minutes

Set up off of a creek bed in a bottleneck of hardwoods with a peanut field to my north & a corn field to my south. Good luck to everyone.

My boy slipped down to his ladder stand this afternoon before I got home. I had no more walked in the door and he sent a text that he had a nanny down. That's #2 for him and he's only been bow hunting for 2 1/2 weeks. He's 20 but he's still my little buddy and I'm super proud. Didn't get a pic cause he's camera shy. But I'll share this one.

Saw a couple. I have had opportunities at does this year just haven't been in a situation where I wanted to kill one. Decided I was gonna shoot on this afternoon given the opportunity. One milled around at 40 yds but never gave me a shot I was happy with taking.
