$199 special???? You're shopping at the wrong Walmart!
I shoot 95 grain Nosler ballistic tips from my 6mm rem. I've heard of people having bad experiences with them, but I've never had one come even close to letting me down. From 40 yards to 330 yards they've performed perfectly for me.

Barnes 80 grain TTSX as fast as you can get it going.

Barnes 80 grain TTSX as fast as you can get it going. That's the plan. My compact 700 shot 95gr fusions around 2650fps and killed deer just fine, even shoulder shots on big bucks lol. My T3 shoots those fusions around 2900fps. My new hunting load is a 80gr ttsx at 3450fps, I stopped at 48gr of super and called it good.

Most people swear by the 95gr Nosler Balistic tips. I have not had a chance to try those yet. I have tried the 80gr TTSXs and just haven't found the right load for it yet.

Hornady SST, Nosler BT's and Partitions all killed easily out of my Model 70.
You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

Going to give Sierra Game Kings in 100gn a try. Have heard and read alot of good about them. I know quite a few deer that didn't like being fed the game kings.

I have a .243 super short. I load 95gr nosler purple tips but I use the 100gr load data for the load. I don't use the max load but .5 gr below the max. It has been the best load for my gun. Powder is h380 as well.
I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

I load both Sierra Pro Hunters and Speer Grand Slams. Both are wicked accurate with Sierras giving me more DRTs and Speers giving me more exits. Any heavy for caliber hunting bullet pushed hard and placed into the vitals is bad news for whitetails.
