Like the other poster said, he was stuck behind Dunn, who was a pretty good college catcher in his own right and had a pedigree in this state. Seems like one year Dunn was hurt or out for a game for some reason and it was a big game and Ross was playing and it was big at bat and everyone was thinking "man, we need Dunn right now." A home run later, that thought was dead.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Between his dad and Hal Baird (the best coach Auburn has ever had in any major sport) he should know baseball and have resources and contacts.

You're absolutely right....so let's make it more fair and only compare Championships our schools have won during our respective lifetimes. I'm guessing you're a little older than me so that should give you a healthy advantage. I was born in '85 so my school has only had 5 during my lifetime (92, 09, 11, 12, 15). How many has yours had during your lifetime? I was born in 1960, let's see, there's 61, 64, 65, 73, 78, 79, 92, 09, 11, 12 & 15. How many do the Barners have during that time......1.....
