How long do they drop acorns? Found a hot tree while scouting over the weekend and hoping its still dropping by the time the weekend rolls around.

Depends on the tree. Red oak species drop the latest. White oaks drop earlier.

This is a huge water oak along an smz in a fresh cut over. Other trees in the area dropping but this one is by far the biggest and they are hammering it. Its also in a perfect little pinch point.. i plan to hunt it regardless, just hoping they still hitting the acorns hard

Just don't go in before daylight run them off. I couldn't agree more. If i'm hunting acorns, i9 always wait until good daylight before going in. I used to always run deer off of acorn tree's going in before daylight.
