Some folks on Internef still going nuts about it, targeting etc. Mary said Saban said in press conference it was good hit because Speedy wasn't a defenseless player.

The SEC officials in Bham or where ever they were stated during the game that it was not targeting due to Speedy not being a "defenseless player".. or someone said that. I remember hearing them state it while Gary was slobbering over the possibility of Alabama getting penalized.

But when the shoe was on the other foot, and aTm was guilty of targeting, they didn't even mention it at all until the referees brought it up. I really can't stand those two peckerheads. I'll be glad when Verne is gone, but Danielson is really the worse of the two.

Frankly, Herbstreit, Reece Davis and Mark May are about the only College Football "personalities" I can stand to listen to. Not even sure where May is now.

And the targeting penalty called against the Aggies was so blatant and Harris was completely defenseless. Everyone saw it, but they chose not to mention it, confirming their bias. I actually think Gary is a good analyst though.
