This is why I don't bowhunt. When I touch the trigger on my rifle it makes something die! Honestly that is why I don't hardly rifle hunt. for the same reason you cited I don't even get excited. Although I don't normally get fevered up, I do get excited at the first footstep of an inbound buck. Rifle hunts just don't do it for me, I doubt my blood pressure and pulse don't spike at all.
