So just little curious to see who likes what kinda of scent control brands and how far they go to keep scent down. i.e do you only support a certain brand, do you not wear deodorant or what kinda might you wear, Do you put hunting gear on once you get there.

This is mainly trying to see what brands and what people do. I usually kinda switch up over scent control brands over the years.

Well lets hear it.

Dead Down wind. It has a huge following. Get some cut an onion and spray DDW on your hands ! You can't destroy all odsors, but I believe DDW is best on the market ! Hunt safe

DDW and Scent-Lok

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Hunting downwind is the only scent killer that I have found to be effective.

If someone says a deer came in downwind and they shot it, it was a dumb deer.

Hunt down wind and quit wasting money on scent killer. If the deer is close enough to wind you it doesn't matter what you have on.

While the hunt down wind is correct, scent killer serves it's purpose. If you get hot and sweaty, spraying the clothes down will eliminate the stank you built earlier in the day and "may" help. It definitely kills scent.

It does kill scent, but only enough that we can tell. To a deer that uses his nose for everything and smells molecules of scent, it doesn't work.

I make my own scent killer with very cheap ingredients. I still pay much attention to the wind though. I had two does walk in from downwind on my trail yesterday and never smelled a thing.

You would think that drug dealers would use a few squirts of Dead Down Wind or some other scent squirt and wrap their drugs in a Scent Locker jacket to get them in the country and to hide them from the drug dogs. Stupid drug lords.

Most importantly, I was all my hunting clothes in scent free detergent and store them in a scent free bag. Then I use DDW

To hell with all that scent away shiz. I pour corn and sweet feed all over my gear inside of a big rubber tub that seals up.

They come in sniffing

Sniff...sniff...

my buddy swears by the conquest scents Ever Calm. I'm going to get a stick of it to try it out. Hes had multiple does that have winded him and become alert, but when back to browsing within 30 yards

I don't use any. I wash my clothes in scent free wash and that's about it. I just make sure I choose my routes to and from my stands very carefully and don't hang around after the hunt is over.

I wash all of my clothing in Pine Power which is kinda like Pine-sol but more pure.I bathe with Ivory soap and before I dry off I mist myself down with baking soda water while still standing in the shower.I gargle with listerene and brush my tongue.I do use sprays on my clothes but am not fooled with thinking that they eliminate all scent. They just break up the molecules to make the deer think you are further away than you really are.Deer have a safe zone that they will keep and it really ain't that far.So if they think you are further away then they know you are somewhere but not quite as close as they think.I also wear a base layer that has silver infused into the thread.Silver is antimicrobial. You have to pay attention to the wind but as everybody knows in Alabama the wind changes direction every 15 minutes.I also hunt high in the trees which really helps on morning hunts with rising thermals.I haven't been blown at in over 15 years in the a.m and only a handful of times in the evenings.Scent control is attainable but scent elimination is impossible.

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life;of whom shall I be afraid?
