Well, as the story goes, we got in a quick hunt this afternoon. This deer came by me at about 20yds and stopped and fed with another one on a ridge in front. Parker was about 60yds to the side of me. we texted back and forth and he said shoot one, maybe the other will run my way. my range finder was on the Fritz but I was guessing 40-45ish, went ahead and got my annual miss out of the way lol. The deer ran over near Parker and he was able to take a shot on it after about 5 minutes. The deer only ran about 75yds.

Appreciate it guys, I've been trying to get a bow kill for a long time and this is my third bow that I'm on. It finally came all together today and it was awesome getting to share with a good friend that I made on here several years back, Atoler. This is the first deer I've killed since my grandfather died a couple of years ago. I know he was with me today and is proud of me. Feels good to get the monkey off my back and hopefully it won't take me another 3 years to get the next. I'll post a little clearer pic. [img:center][/img]
