Well it's almost here. I'll be in Knoxville for the game Saturday watching bama put the smackdown on the vols in Bryant Denny north. RTR. But I'll be hunting Sunday Monday Tuesday. First year bow hunting and first year back hunting for 3+ years.
I think I have my bases covered on what to bring to be ready to hunt.
Let's hear what you guys ABSOLUTELY have with you when you bow hunt.

Bow, release, arrows, harness, tree strap, stand, rangefinder, thermacell, knife, TP, glucose tabs, and a small snack incase my blood sugar starts dropping. I'll also have a battery bank for my cell phone since I use it as my GPS to get to my stand location.

One climb up and down in the day before I climb the tree on Saturday in the dark.

Only a fool doesn't use a thermacell. yes JONO they work. turn it on when you get to the tree, when your climber is on the tree attach it to bottom. This way smoke rises and covers your body. they work great and do not scare deer. You can actually see mosquitos hovering about an arms length away from you. Make sure extras are in your pack. One of the absolute best hunting inventions for bow hunters in the South ! Hunt safe

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

I don't get bitten by mosquitoes with or without, but it keeps me from swatting. Which helps bow hunting about as much as it does turkey hunting

Seriously thought your response at the beginning was going to be a Chuck Norris quote. "I don't get bitten by mosquitoes, mosquitos get bit by me." slap

I didn't see any difference between using it and not. The only difference I could tell was the smell it puts off. They aren't worth the trouble for me.

"original" for sure puts off more smell than "earth" scent pads.

Gold wrapper vs silver wrapper.
