Shot a fat doe this evening followed blood for 800 plus yards but no deer

I'll be hunting AL, KS and MS. Hunted 4 days during KS MZ season, but no luck. It was blistering hot with an east wind. Headed back Nov 30-Dec 4.

I'm not going to be able to go in the morning but I'll be there Sunday.

I have to work tomorrow, but I don't go in until 9. Got a little spot that I'm gonna slip in and hunt real quick before work and hopefully go ahead and knock a doe down.

Old lady birthday is today, so we went out last night and slept in late.. ill be after them tomorrow

I hunted for three hours this morning and only saw a bunch of squirrels.

I believe that big moon last night had all the deer moving before the sun come up.

Hunted yesterday before work and then morning and afternoon today. Have yet to see a dang deer. Worst opening weekend I've had in a long time.

I'll be after them all weekend this week. Maybe we'll all get a bloody arrow.

I am getting after em Friday-Sunday. My hope is to smoke a doe Friday morning then buck hunt the remainder of the weekend.

Sorry guys, I didn't get to go this past weekend. I had a stress test done on Thursday and was waiting for the results before I went trying to drag deer out of the woods. I should be back after them this weekend though.

I left out saturday morning headed to the club with every intention of hunting but fajitas and corona are a bad combo the night before a hunt... 2 hour ride turned into 3 i did a lot of scouting and know exactly where im hunting this weekend. Going friday at lunch to hang stand and hunt it saturday

I think I'm going to battle the heat and skeeters for a couple of hours Sat am.

Got us some more points yesterday fellas. Whacked a buck with 13 scorable points. Will get pics up and submit it whenever I can figure out something to use other than Photobucket, it appears that it is dead.

Drew down on a doe at 15 yards saturday morning. She came in from downwind and was on alert.. she picked me out but couldnt figure out what i was. All she would do is poke her head into the lane and look up at me. That went on for 30 minutes until she had enough and wandered off.

I went Thursday and yesterday and didn't see anything.

I shot another doe with my muzzle loader, but have yet to see a buck worth shooting. Hopefully that will change this weekend.

Anybody planning to hunt the cold snap thats coming thursday-friday?

If I can take Friday off I'm going. Definitely Saturday morning though.

I've been after ducks the last couple days. Planning on getting back after the deer later this week though.

Just got back from Round 2 in KS and unfortunately did not bring us any points home. Had a 160+ 10pt headed my way on 1st afternoon, but 2 yotes came running through and busted him out of the river bottom. Saw one more that would've been 150" shooter, but he had his G2's and G3's busted off on both sides. Next year.....

Reno got us a 7pt.

I sat from daylight to 10 and didn't see anything. The way my season has gone I probably couldn't find a deer in a petting zoo.

Killed this 8pt on Saturday at 7:10am slipping across a 3 year old clear cut in Baldwin County.
