I got, plenty of good deer on camera.but most of them hadn't been showing up,lately.But it is bone dry here,i,'ve planted 10 greenfield and have not got one twig of grass comeing up.so maybe hunt the swampy areas, hoping there. thirsty. Well guy,s I m trying my luck, I Checked my camera and had 1500 picture,s in 6 day,s I had 3 of the biggest buck,s I have ever got on my camera. Maybe I can get us one of them.

Hey guys I shot a big doe yesterday afternoon, there was lots of blood for about 100 yards, then I lost it.went back this morning no luck finding her.she ran up to a gas line.the blood stopped about 10 yards from the gas line.the gas line had cut down trees all the way down it is think she may have got under a tree limb..Mabel good luckpi next time.

dang! sucks about not finding her. I have only hunted opening day but will get cranked up in a few weeks when the gun hunters leave me and let me bow hunt.. good luck till then..

Man there was a lot of blood complete pass through.thats the first deer I've ever lost bowhunting.i shot her with the new broadhead whacked em the broadhead did it's job one thing I'm hunt in in a swamp so there's water all around.if someone will post my pictures I got 4 monsterbucks I'm after just text me and I can text the pictures to someone to post.my number is 205 294 5169.

Back from KY guys. I missed a 130" 9pt at 5 yards. it was almost a straight down shot out of a climber, which was tough to even attempt. It was a good hunt but they were still 7-10 days out. Going back there in December, but getting ready for juvenile in TN this weekend.

Dont let that miss rattle you man ,that is one of the toughest shots to make.I used to grill my buddy for letting a deer get so close then he would make some mistake and miss.I tried telling him a 20 yard shot is a lot easier to make.

I am good. Its been too hot to do much hunting, but I am heading up Fri and Sat to hunt at the TN club. Some big deer have been dropping this week up there.

Hey guy,s anyone been hunting much,I shot a doe a couple weeks back never found her. I'm emmarsst to say this but have missed 4 deer since. The day I shot the doe It got dark,and my phone light went dead.well anyway I tripped over a log headed out of a swamp and landed on my bow.I didn't take no practice shots to see if my bow was off. So after I missed deer number 3 .I checked my bow out the sights was off by a foot high at 30 yards. Well got it sighted back in and dang missed a nice 8 pt right at dusk. but I checked my sights again they were still sighted in nerves on the 8 pt.But next week will be different when rifle season starts.good luck Todd w.

well, dry weekend in TN, preparing for the rut to kick in soon. last week of the month for us, so the big boys are hanging tight and filling up.
Next weekend will open rifle for us. Neighbor showed me a pic of a monster today that is living close to where i hunt. Fingers crossed.

alright boys, its time to get this done. The next 10 days will make or break me in TN. I found some excellent sign yesterday. I will hunt Friday and Saturday with my son, then I will be on my own next week to get my 2 bucks. I took 2 in 3 days last year. It all about timing.

bout to get moved into my house.... I have not hunted but opening day but will be sure to start on a regular basis... just a few more weeks fellas...

Ok thanks it wasn't a big doe maybe 70 pounds ,but it's points for our team.i don't like shooting my mature does because they bring in the big boys.i got 3 that I hope I can get at least one of them.triplewide is a 11 point maybe close to 25 inches wide.then Hightower a big 8 point with close to 9 inch brow tines then there's a stud 9 point with a split G2.thats my wish list got a number of 6 ,7,and 8,s around 14 inch spread.

Hey guy,s anyone else doing any hunting latley.Our team has been very silent compared to the other teams.I'm starting to see lots of sign latley.I've passed on several does yet to see a buck. but have alot of them on my camera,s. also seeing lots of big tracks,running doe,s but must be at night or I'm at the wrong stand . I'M thinking after this rain gets out of here this is gonna be a great week. My greenfield, s are starting to grow ,fingers crossed this cold air comeing don't kill the young grass .It finally is coming together. Good luck guy,s.

I'm working 60 hours a week and coaching basketball. Swamped. Been out a few times on WMAs but without any success.

But I'm off for a little while soon and will be hunting a couple private farms. Plus going to hunt several weekends in January. Have several prime spots picked out. I should be good for a decent buck and a doe...if all goes according to plan.

first time in a long time i have had a season this bad. dont get it. oh well, taking the kid to see if he can get one tomorrow and friday.

Killed a big 8 pt today.

Hunted all day yesterday. Saw 7 does. Should of killed one but they got me. Fair and square. After em again this morning.

well, first time I got skunked in a while. been a long hard season. would have liked to shoot a doe, but I spent the last 2 weeks with my son getting him one. we were waiting for a buck, but the last hunt he got itchy and I let him bust a big nanny.

Todd you still have until feb 10th.

Well I have next week off so hopefully can make something happen. Will be hunting with the bow mostly and most likely bucks only. We will see. Looks like weather is gonna be right.

hey guys, I won't hunt in AL, only in TN this year. I did a couple of KY hunts instead, so I don't have a place to hit it here in AL this time. No worries though. Always next year.
