I don't think Kiffin is the problem...it's not play calling. We have a true fresh QB that can't read defenses, and can't make read progressions, thus we just can't be dynamic in the passig game. If the "planned" target isn't open, then that play is basically a bust.
And frankly we are getting lousy O-line play in front of him. If ANYBODY needs to go at Bama, it's Cristobal. Even last year, much of Henry's production was simply his ability, not a dominating O-line. Whatever Joe Pendry is making in the NFL, double it and bring him back.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

Jet sweep big gain, very next play, jet sweep lost yards, that's not the QB, that is play calling. Last week Bama threw 3 screen passes in a row, not one of them made positive yards, that's not on Hurts. Like someone else stated, the common thread in all of these NC's is Saban, not Kiffin. Bama did pretty good with AJ and Coker, neither was a "mobile" QB, Kiffin still did some of his gimmicks last year with Coker but not nearly as much as he did with Simms, and so far this year with Hurts. I can't remember Coker's int's(not saying that he didn't throw some) but I do remember the Def. getting Simms the ball on Ohio State's 25 yd line and he threw a pick 6, then the Def. got him the ball around Ohio's 40 yd line and he ran around in the back field till he got sacked.

Ya, Alabama went to the college football playoff, won two sec championships and won the national championship with kiffin as the OC, I hope they fire him Is this real life??????? No one is taken anything away from him or wanting him fired. We just want him to go back to what Alabama football is and that's smash mouth run it down your throat style. That style always seemed to work on the defense a lot better than this side to side chit This thread was started as a request for to fund me site to raise money to get rid of him.

I just disagree with saying they don't know what they are doing.

Pendry retired but Stoutland was the better O-line Coach in my opinion. He went to Philadelphia with Chip Kelley and is still there.

I'm not sure if Coach Sarkisian will be retained or not for the OC position if Kiffin moves on. I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed another year, it all depends on what job he is offered. If Kiffin gets a HC job; be sure he will try to hire Sark. Though, he may not be able to compete with Bama $$ depending on his destination.

the only problem with smash mouth football is when your RB goes out with a knee injury take chubbs and fournette. This then has a physiological effect on the team, they say to them selves " we're a smash mouth team, how are we gonna win now without a rb. henry wasnt super impressive till his last year. If he would have injured his knee at the beginning of the year, it would be a completely different season.

I believe He'll be the Best QB Bama's had in a long time nxt year, it's a shame he has to be out there nearly every down..

You mean just line up and play ball like LSU and Les Miles? Saban saw the transition of the game with the RPO's and changed with the times. Les didn't change and you see how that worked out. Sure, Bama will lose at some point but it doesn't take a Nostradamus to call that. Enjoy the ride.

And Bama's hasn't been no better, it's a shame a program like Bama can't get a good Qb, they have one now and he's a 18 year old young man, that shouldn't be taken snaps nearly the entire game. But what choice do they have?

James do you want Alabama to start rotating qb's like Gus did against Clemson? Heck If he's the starting quarterback he's gonna be on the field Huhhh No...
