Found a few #10 bags of chufa gold on a back shelf in a store meant to ask what the price was on them. Two questions. 1. How much is the going rate for a 10lb bag. 2. If I picked them up now would they be fine till next year when I plant.

You need about 50 lbs to plant an acre so I don't know why anyone sells just 10. 50 lb bags run from $60-80, depending on where it's grown and who is selling it.
I would want to keep it in a freezer to use next year. It's probably not worth the trouble unless you get a good discount on price.

Thanks PCP. I will check with them on the price just to see but will wait till next year to buy. I have never planted chufas before going to try to plant an acre next year to see how it goes. If it works out I will up the acreage the following year.
