Granted I haven't been on cahaba much mostly dove hunting but I have no desire to hunt on the wma. Its either strip mines pines or scrub oaks You forgot..... There's plenty of clearcut also. Almost forgot that. It looks like a nuclear wasteland out there

There's a butt load of deer out there, it's just not very pretty scenery in most places and depending on where you kill one you may be in for a whole lot more work than you'd planned on.

I might be. Redstone Arsenal is getting a case of the suck with areas being shutdown. That's what I'm wondering about here with Pelham Range. Won't be able to find out till Thursday. If no good things are open, well I'm not sure what to do. Got some bucks on camera on private land, but haven't had a daylight pic in 10 days. Found some good stuff on Choccolocco WMA this past weekend, but Chocco is a far-fetched gamble with a bow.
