Neither candidate stuck to the issues and both hit each other on some of their weak points. Trump was free to make points on several of Hillary's indiscretions but he was either too unprepared to do it or he just didn't want to.

I thought he could have hit a lot more to but I think she really steamed him when she went after his father giving him the money to start his business. That is just class warfare and you know they did it for Chelsey as well.

When I woke up this morning, I expected to see headlines that said something like: Two Clowns Spotted on Stage at Hofstra University Trying to Lure Voters into the Woods.
Honestly, to me, there was no winner and both were losers. Trump had better start talking about some of the folks he will try to surround himself with and they better be some darn good folks. And I'll still say that if Hillary wins the election, the only thing that proves is that the "dumbing down of America" is continuing to work like a charm.

Fell asleep. Missed it. I WIN ^^^THIS. I wish I had done the same. I will not be watching another debate. It's so depressing to watch these two clowns up on the stage and to think that we had so many better choices to choose from on the Republican side. ANY one of the other 16 candidates could have done a better job than Trump did last night. Matt Walsh's post sums it up very well. There were SO many missed opportunities, with one of the biggest being the area of cyber security. All Trump had to do was ask her about the email server in the bathroom. Boom. Roasted. Another example of what SHOULD have happened: Hillary - You're a racist and so is your party. Trump - Um no, actually Hillary, the Democrat party is responsible for slavery and trying to "oppress" the African American people. If you look back through history, it is YOUR party who fought for segregation, Jim Crowe laws, etc..... Boom. Roasted. But none of that happened...because he's too arrogant and too stupid to adequately prepare.
Diane: Am I interrupting something important?
Ron Swanson: Impossible. I work for the government.

I think he's letting the "on the fence" voters form their own opinions. By not hammering the front line questions, he is inadvertently making folks talk about HRC issues. He definitely came off as soft to the die hard Trump supporters, but his self-restraint may help him. I just hope his comments about tax sheltering don't come back to haunt him. It's the middle class that pays when you try to tax the 1%. Small business owners don't have the luxury of lobbyists and top tier tax accountants. He would be a fool not to hide realized income thus, getting hammered by taxes. I have no idea about politics and I may be flat wrong, but that's how I see it from my personal small business experience. . When a person gets audited every year for the last ten years as Trump has, CPA s will tell you he is taking abnormal deductions and investment schemes that the IRS is challenging... Or he's been being targeted like the Tea Party and other conservative groups have.

Why do libitards join this site ? They know we hate the very people they endorse and their way for America. So many of the newer members are a pain in the azz. I just put the ol ignore button on them ! It ain't just new members. A lot of our older members are Democrats they just don't know it. Some may seem democratic in their replies, but I believe that is disappointment from Donald Trump not being the conservative candidate that we want him to be. As bas as he is, he is the best choice and I would like to think that most if not all on this site will be voting for him. When you weigh the options, he is the best that will be on the ticket on November 8. And, this is coming from a voter who once claimed to be a "Never Trumper." I've prayed and thought about it and I am at least smart enough (I hope its smartness) to know that the nominations and appointments of Supreme Court Justices is of vital importance for the United States of America. Hopefully, the Donald will hold true to his word and make conservative nominations and we'll have a Congress that will confirm and appoint his nominees. Hillary will destroy the country with her possible appointees (just think if one of those appointees is Barak Hussein (in Arabic "Destroyer") Obama. This is the first time in 16 years of being on aldeer that I've ever had a string run this long. Thanks to all who have responded and all I ask is that we all continue to pray for our great country. We need to be diligent and discerning. We are talking about our children's, grand children's, great-grandchildren's, etc. future. If we continue to let this great country slide into the toilet bowl, we, already owing them an apology, will owe them an even greater apology. It is our generation and at least one before us that have let the U.S. slide to where it currently stands. It's time for a major change. God bless!

Yeah I do too…..It’s called ADHD….. ... That hyperactive part is what makes your brain race faster than your mouth. I’m 100 times better at communicating on a forum like this or in writing than I am in person because I have no choice but to go at the pace of my fingers. It looks like the same thing happening to Trump. He held it together good there for a while but then it got the best of him and his brain went to racing on him. It’s likely that over-hyper activeness that’s led to a lot of his success…..it’s drive. It sure doesn’t help though in the appearance of stability and debate performance. Wheeww!
