What lace up cold weather hunting boots have y'all found that breathe the best?

Your gonna laugh by I usually wear plain sneakers. Reason being is I don't really ever get cold down here in bama. If it does get cold then I just use my warm bag. Swamp hunting I use my rubber boots but mainly tennis shoes
I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Haha hey whatever works. I hunt in north Jackson county and it gets really cold. We had some single digit hunts year before last. Teens aren't uncommon either

I know you'll get a thousand opinions here, so here's mine...
I've long worn 800g rubber boots, but in recent years have actually gone back to leather boots, AND went down to 400g. Reason being I don't want the bulk and weight of really heavy insulated boots (1200g/1600g/2000g). And honestly 90% of the days our whole season the 400g are perfect. When it gets really cold (say 30's and less) I'll just use Toasty Toes. I wear 400g Danner High Ground boots and have yet to have even a hint of cold toes, even with temps in single digits a few times.

I'm a very hot natured person, but my feet get cold normally. I don't mean just when I hunt either. I have to have a higher gram. The problem is with those rubber boots my feet sweat too bad. That's why I'm going back to lace up leather boots.

My honest opinion is I don't know if you can buy a boot that will keep your toes warm in "frost" weather. Well, I've never worn 2000g boots, but I've had 1000g and they didn't do it. Basically GOT to have the foot warmers.

Basically GOT to have the foot warmers. I have hunted my whole life and haven't either. My main thing is, with rubber boots my feet are freezing 30 - 1 hour into my hunt regardless of the insulation level. I have some poly sock liners this year to go along with my wood socks.

I don't know if quality has changed or I have changed. But up until about 6 or 7 years ago, I could wear Rocky insulated boots with wool socks and be fine even in the usual low of 20s where I hunt. Maybe me getting older...

Haha hey whatever works. I hunt in north Jackson county and it gets really cold. We had some single digit hunts year before last. Teens aren't uncommon either I don't mind hunting cold. I like it. I take my shoes off anyway when I get to where I'm gonna hunt while I'm inside my warm bag. That thing is so warm I used it a few years ago in IL when it was minus 30 with the wind chill and all I had on was a pair of pants and a hoodie. It usually stays around 70 inside it.
I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

I like my unisulated ll beans with wool socks until it gets really cold. Then I either stay home or wear my muck. There woody max or something like that. The biggest thing for me is not sweating in them walking in or the ride to the woods
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Basically GOT to have the foot warmers. Totally agree. I wear 1000 gr Thinsulate boots all season unless I need waders. My feet always get cold and that makes for some miserable early mornings.

Try to find smartwool liner socks instead of the polypro socks. Wool is better than synthetics. Also, make sure you can wiggle your toes in your socks and boots. If your toes are tight on your noots they're going to get cold.
