You'd better buy it quick at that price. Shaw can give you an idea on cost for a new cam but I think around $50 for just the cam but you could turn around and sell yours and recoup $35 or so.

Yep, used cam off Archerytalk or eBay will run $40 to $60. Then you can sell the one that's on it. Also, as mentioned in the previous post, go 1/2" shorter than you measure. You will need to get a ZX cam. What's your draw length?

A coworker has one for sale that I am interested in. She wants $400. I assume that is a fair price?
What is it going to cost me to change the draw length? I'd jump all over that deal.

My current bow is a 30".

My current bow is a 29.5" I believe. Is there a scientific way of measuring your draw length? Drive over to Clems Tackle in Opp or possibly Fletcher's and have them measure your draw length. Most bow shops have a bow set up with an arrow with measurements that will give you your draw length.

The measure wrist to wrist (or finger tips or whatever) and divide by 2 thing had me in a wrong draw length for years. It doesn't take into account width of shoulder or short arms. It is a good starting point, but speak up if it doesn't feel right, it likely isn't.

Shaw, Would this one work?

I see a lot of 'zx cams but then they have two more letters like zx-cr of zx-dr. Negative. It has to be a ZX cam. You'll need a ZX-CR for a 29" draw.
