Just curious, what is you preference for hunting times? Early morning or in the evening? Maybe add some pros and cons for some discussion.

Middle of the day on public land
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Definitely morning in early season when it's hot.

Any time I can get in a stand. I tend to have more luck in the evenings before the boom sticks break out.

I see WAY more deer in the afternoon but there is just something about a cool, crisp morning when the leaves are changing and acorns are falling.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

I've killed good bucks in both mornings and afternoons. However, I've had better luck in the mornings.

See more deer in the evenings, but prefer to hunt mornings for all the obvious reasons.

In the early season I seem to have more luck in the afternoon, as season progresses and the weather gets colder, I do better with bucks in the mornings.

Morning for me; biggest pro is that if you kill something & have to track it, you've got hours of daylight to do so. And you have daylight to skin your deer. I have hunted a lot in the evenings, but mostly nowadays I'm a morning hunter.

I hunt both but prefer mornings for the same reasons mentioned above

I have hunted a lot in the evenings, but mostly nowadays I'm a morning hunter. Heck yeah! The work starts after the kill and I much prefer to see what I'm doing! Plus it's just better all around in the morning I think. I may not see or kill as many deer but I just enjoy watching and listening to the woods wake up.
