Just curious, what is you preference for hunting times? Early morning or in the evening? Maybe add some pros and cons for some discussion.

Definitely morning in early season when it's hot.

Depends where you are and what food sources you're hunting. Terrain also makes a difference with thermals

Any time I can get in a stand. I tend to have more luck in the evenings before the boom sticks break out.

I see WAY more deer in the afternoon but there is just something about a cool, crisp morning when the leaves are changing and acorns are falling.

I've killed good bucks in both mornings and afternoons. However, I've had better luck in the mornings.

See more deer in the evenings, but prefer to hunt mornings for all the obvious reasons.

All of the above. I plan on doing equal parts of both.

In the early season I seem to have more luck in the afternoon, as season progresses and the weather gets colder, I do better with bucks in the mornings.

Morning for me; biggest pro is that if you kill something & have to track it, you've got hours of daylight to do so. And you have daylight to skin your deer. I have hunted a lot in the evenings, but mostly nowadays I'm a morning hunter.

I hunt both but prefer mornings for the same reasons mentioned above

Heck yeah! The work starts after the kill and I much prefer to see what I'm doing!

Plus it's just better all around in the morning I think. I may not see or kill as many deer but I just enjoy watching and listening to the woods wake up.

I hunt both. I have killed more big deer in the am though. I usually see more deer in the afternoon. I just enjoy being up a tree whether it's morning, midday, or the afternoon.
