Also have 3 groundblinds. I told my wife the other day how much money I had in treestands and sticks and her she bout fainted. Interests free credit is a beautiful thing. BPro927 4 point B Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 275 AL, Morgan County	In 08 I got a climber, I don't remember the brand. The straps were horrible and I used it until the 15-16 season. I would walk in .75 miles everytime. And attached a pack to it. I just recently bought a tree Walker and serval attachments, there is a YouTube video of a guy talking about it and the attachments. I pretty much got them all. The spot I hunt on public land is a long haul, but totally worth it. Now I just need to be comfortable while out there!

UARandy3 4 point Joined: Jun 2014 Posts: 758 Trussville, AL	I've got 6 sets of sticks, 4 SG loc-ons, 1 Millennium M100U and 3 brackets, 2 double ladders, an old tree lounge climber, and a summit viper sd climber. Last year I put out the 4 sets of sticks and the loc-ons (mostly for bow season), used the M100U to hunt some other setups I helped another club member with, had 1 of the ladders out, and used the Summit a bit.

I put all of mine out so I can have options if the wind isn't in my favor. I always have my climber in my truck in case I need to pick elsewhere because of other members beating me to the signing board and the wind doesn't favor my other picks. I prefer to use my lock ons when bow hunting.

My stands stay on the tree all year (except for climbers and millenniums of course). It's too much effort to take them down and put them back up each year. I just touch up with paint, replace straps as needed, etc.

I have a Gorilla Baby Gorilla (think it's called), 2 old school Loc-on stands, a couple Big Game's (my fave), and an Ameristep lock-on from Wal-mart that was $35. I typically set out about 2-3 stands that I leave during the season (usually my bigger ones), and then use my small Baby Gorilla and/or Loc-on's as "mobile" stands to setup & flash hunt out of and then take down & put back in my shed. The mechanism in Goliath that keeps your feet in climber is flawed imo. I'll gladly pay more for LW quality.
