Every year I will take an afternoon or two and shoot 15-20 shots from 20-25ft up at different yardage. Who else practices from the tree before season?

Only arrows I've ever shot from a stand were at deer.

I do about a week before season comes in just to get a fill for it, it's a lot different when you are 20 feet up standing on a small platfrom shooting down

I don't practice from a tree but probably should.

I always practiced from a 20" ladder stand. I bought a deer
target,it really helped with shot placement. Hunt safe

Not from a stand but my dad's deck is about 12' off the ground and then the yard slopes down hill so that by the time you're 12yds away, you're about 18'-20' above the target.

I have a 20 ft ladder stand at the camp house just for that purpose. I use a 3D target and move it around to various distances and angles. I try to take a few practice shots during the lunch break.

I've got a 16' ladder stand I built behind my shop and several targets. Folks come from all round to practice from it. Makes a difference.

You don't learn to bend at the waist if you always shoot from the ground.

My porch is about 15' off the ground and ill practice from that. I do have an old lock on that I'll hook to a tree a foot or so from the ground to practice shooting from the small platform and shoot sitting down

same, hasn't ever made much difference with me.

I know people who put their thick gloves and facemask and all on and shoot in September. Ill pass on that.

I shoot from my elevated deck and stand in one of the deck chairs that has a similar sized or maybe even smaller platform than shooting from any of my stands. My yard slopes pretty dramatically, so I'm about the right height as my stands in relation to the 20 and 30 yard targets.

I practice from my porch which is elevated ~10-12 ft.

Last month or so before season I shoot only out of a ladder at 3Ds.

I never have. I have always felt if you know your bow you can make the adjustment. Shooting instinctual has its advantages in that way. If you're aiming and adjusting for the height, bend at the waist, pick a spot lower (where tan turns white), and drop a little below that.

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan

I just do it for peace of mind. More of a confidence booster I guess. Plus it makes me get that much more ready. I always shoot the same from a stand as I do from the ground. Never had to make any adjustments.
