Once Ole tfd1224 and I were turkey hunting hollins wma and we drove up on a giant hippie camp ground in the middle of nowhere and this one hippie that looked like flea from the chili peppers jumped out in the middle of the road and tfd1224 tried to run him over. We got down the road a way and this car flew up on our azz he was like f#$@ this guy I'm going to feed him some extended range!! I was like dude, there no open season on hippies!!! Any how no hippies died that day so he repaid me the next day by running 3 long beards off that were almost in range. Smh!!!

I thought it was weird when you grabbed me by the arm and looked me in the eye and said dude its not worth it. That's actually a real funny story but the whole thing is way too long to type out.

Patience....................and I have one. It goes from cheep cheep to squawck squawk and I struff it in my BDU pocket and button it down. It calmed right down and shut up. Cool.  I sort out my gear and turn to resume my creeping and the water just to me left explodes. She was facing the other way and swapped ends in a tenth of a second and came at me with her mouth alternately wide open and closed. No noise while open - growling while closed. I was non-stop yelling at her to just let me go, I didn't want to hurt her and I would put the damn baby back. I came to full draw as soon as I realized wtf. She was having none of my nonsense, never checked up and I put an arrow down her throat at about 5 feet away. She turned away and dove through the mat. The water was sloching all around and I was fereaked all the hell out and immediately turned and went to the closest bank 150 yards away. Crawled out. Unbottuned my jacket pocket and found no baby. Kind of bummed about that - she kept on so I ddin't have to stick to my promise. That was the last time I have been in a swamp l;ake. This story reminds me of the guy in Jurassic Park that stole the egg. Mamas don't like that crap.

Geno I was fishing in A swamp one time in Mobile Delta. i heard that sqeeking coming from the bank. I trolled over to check it out. When I saw two dozen little ones I got the hell out of there. I could see mama bailing off the bank into my boat ! Oh hell no ! LOL Best leave them alone.

I shot a buck that ran out on Lake Tuscaloosa and died on the ice...convinced a buddy to walk out there and get it after an hour of fail lassoing attempts using pull up rope

There's a well known member on here who tried to drive a Polaris ranger like it was a submarine one cold January day. He cut a wake through 300 yards of a flooded road and that ranger got buoyant real fast. As water was pouring through the gas pedal hole I knew it was getting bad. I hurriedly got the rifles and gave them to our buddy in the back as we climbed onto the seats. The water was up to the seat cushion and the ranger bogged down about 100 yards from the end of the water. There was nothing to do but get in the water and push it out. He can elaborate if he wants to  I had you screaming about getting hypothermia in the waist deep water and my other passenger screaming (while all 6'3" of him was crouched like a tree frog on the back seat) "RANGERS ARE MADE FOR THIS!!!" Like we were at some type of mud bog. I wasn't sure whether to turn around or do a Rebel yell and push that accelerator harder.  One of my most memorable hunts saw Southwood do a belly flop out of his climber from about 3' high (think completely parallel to the ground when he landed) and take off through the woods like he was Usain Bolt. I'm still not sure why he sprinted through the woods when he gained his footing. Real tears from laughing at him for probably 20 minutes after that incident.
