Just joined a club on the Tombigbee River. It's gorgeous land, all hardwoods with only 2 or 3 pines on close to 2000 acres. There's also a pretty big oxbow lake on one border of the property. Couldn't be more excited for bow season to get here but I'm starting to realize that I have no idea how to hunt this hardwood river swamp. Would be grateful for advice on scouting, stand locations, bedding areas, feeding areas etc.

Find out at what stage the river floods your property. Your whole club could be under water.

If that oxbow is connected to the river there might be a lot of shooting come duck season

I hunted along the Tombigbee close to Demopolis for years. Killed a ton of deer there. My experience was that deer in a swamp are very difficult to pattern. They seem to just wander around. My best success was finding white oaks and hunting close to them in the early season, and finding high spots in the swamp as this is usually where bucks will bed. Creek crossings can also be productive. If the river floods the property, it can be a bonanza if there are hammocks and high spots that do not flood. I am assuming there are palmettos, which means LOTS of noise going to your spots. If the timber is as you describe, you will probably be able to see a very long way in those hardwoods (if there is no palmetto), and slipping along and stalking very slowly in the mornings can also produce results.
Good luck!

I grew up hunting a swamp. It can be very tough hunting for sure. Lots of times you'll have palmetto thickets in areas like this that deer will use as bedding areas. I always hunted swamp chestnut groves in bow season. During the rut, I hunted the funnels around the flooded areas. That oxbow lake may be a good funnel. I rattled up my first buck in that swamp.

Look for beaver ponds and hunt the dam, find the swamp chestnuts, killed my first deer with a bow hunting them. Since you have no pine thickets find thickest cover and hunt the edges. I envy you. Hunt safe
