BTW, don't wait until you NEED a rule because of a situation. Make rules to prevent such overuse now. My club has limits on everything from guests, family members, buck harvest, does, etc...
You may say, "Your club has too many rules!" No, we don't. We just protect the integrity of the club but we allow "paying members" to pick the fruit and we realize that we "Can't save the world" so we don't try.
Your family consist of 7 ppl.. only three can hunt per day and only 5 can be at the camp house at a time. And, your adult son(s) ain't your dependent!
Our club is happy and members don't grumble because if there is anything that would piss a member off, well, there is already a rule in place to prevent it. If you're greedy, hit the road!

Most clubs include family with membership, at least most I've ever heard of or would consider why would it be so hard. I don't see it that way. Why should one man (or woman member) pay $1400 to hunt and not bring guest(s) or family members and another man pays the same and hunts six people? What's fair about that? My club places a max of family members and guests. I would not want to be in a club that hunts that many people on one membership esp when you place a multiplier on a single membership with six or more people hunting. NOPE... want no part of that hot mess!!!! No disrespect to the family man as I'm one too... I just expect my entire family to be able to hunt for the same price as a single man. UNLESS, you join a club with all family memberships and it's all crowded equally for all. I'm with ya there.With that said I just lease my own land and pretty much let all our kids and the members kids have at it.All our kids are really the only reason I even leased the land in the first place.Lotta first bucks and does come from that 340 acres.Been leasing that land for about 6 years now and I've never even killed a deer on it.My advice is find and lease your own Lil place and yall have at it.I've never joined a club and never will.
