Mr. Raines wrote for local papers in south Alabama for years. He would write about topics that any avid outdoors man could relate to. Story- telling is a lost art these days. Many of us would rather watch a video on youtube, instead of letting our mind paint a picture. Too bad we are getting away from that. I miss a good campfire, and a few older guys telling tales, and adding a bit to them now and then.

I think Ben Raines is pretty good writer. All of his pieces are usually pretty good reads. Plus they are normally outdoors or history oriented.
